What’s the issue with this succulent? Is it fungal infection? Please look at the stem.

Getting sunlight.. it is in my balcony

It was healthy.. but suddenly stem became like this…
Black coloured.

Hope it didn’t get lot of rain water
Succulents can’t handle water or heat
Even if top soil dries the soil under may be wet
Enough to rot the plants

This looks like root rot, soil looks so hard for a succulent plant ….. Please check potting soil

You should repot it. Remove the plants and drench roots in antifungal solution. Then prepare new potting mix using garden soil + vermicompost+river sand+antifungal powder +neem cake powder + humic acid+Epsom salt. Put the plant in same pot and water just twice a week or when top soil dries up.
